Pearl River High School Holds Charity Ping-Pong Tournament

Pearl River High School Students and faculty will participate in a ping-pong tournament Monday, Wednesday and Thursday to raise money for local families in need.

Pearl River is a commmunity that takes a great interest in sports.

Charitable endeavors are also high on the community's priority list.

Pearl River High School students and faculty members will combine the two as they compete in their annual ping-pong tournaments, with the proceeds going to families in need.

The tournament will begin with matches Monday and Wednesday in the high school cafeteria, with the semifinals and finals after school Thursday in the gym. The entry fee is $10 and students will also raise money by selling baked goods and t-shirts.
