Pearl River Library Holds Reception For Camp Venture Artists

The Pearl River Public Library's exhibit of the creation of artists with Camp Venture will be on display through Sept. 3.

The Pearl River Public Library is showing the work of adults and children working through the Camp Venture Creative Arts Program this month.

The library will hold a reception for the artists 7 p.m. Wednesday which is open to the public. The display includes ceramics and paintings.

"It looks like an exhibit you might see in New York City," said Martha Murdock, the library's display and exhibit coordinator. "The clay work is extremely good. The (paintings) look like more abstract kind of work and very colorful."
