Russo Collects Prize at Rotary Meeting

Sean Russo pulled in a prize-winning Yellow Perch at the Pearl River Rotary Jim Amann Fishing contest May 7 in Veterans Park.

He collected his prize at the club's regular meeting Thursday in the Greenhouse Cafe, a $1,000 savings bond. Russo, 11, is a student at South Orangetown Middle School.

The meeting was also the last before Carol McGrath takes over as president of the Rotary Club of Pearl River. Outgoing president Bob Simon thanked the board of directors and all of the members for the work the club has done during the past year.
