Art Exhibit Opens at Pearl River Public Library

First Friday Nyack 

  • Where: Downtown Nyack
  • When: Friday, Jan. 3 from 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Description: Start off the month with art and wine as the Nyack Art Collective (NAC) presents an Art/Wine Crawl. Shops and businesses unite with local artists for an evening of art, music, poetry and wine! NAC is a member owned and managed non-profit organization comprised of visual artists in the greater Nyack, area. Find out more.
Handbell Choir Performance
  • Where: Nauraushaun Presbyterian Church at 51 Sickletown Road in Pearl River
  • When: Sunday, Jan. 5 at 10 a.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Description: Handbell soloist Brian A. Tricoli, who rings with the Jersey Jubilation Handbell Choir and Westminsters at West Side Presbyterian Church, both in Ringwood, NJ, will be the musical leader for this performance. 
Pearl River Library Artist Reception for Gary Falkenstern
  • Where: Pearl River Public Library
  • When: Sunday, Jan. 5 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Description: Pearl River resident Gary Falkenstern's artwork will be on display at Pearl River Public Library from Jan. 2 through Jan. 29. The opening reception with Falkenstern will be held in the library's community room.
