The Africa Inland Mission (AIM) is a non-denominational, Christian mission organization that is active in 14 countries throughout Africa. The office is involved in missionary relations projects, financing, mobilizing candidates to serve, training them, caring for them out in the field and helping them to find housing once they return.

It holds four candidate weeks every year, where people looking to serve in Africa learn what it's like and what potential assignments are. The preparation process, which includes raising money and training, normally takes a year. The youngest a candidate can be is 19. AIM offers short-term placement which normally last from two months to a year. More permanent placement options are available.
