Curriculum and instruction is revised according to faculty input and education research.</p> <p>The school's principal is Maureen Alaimo. There are 30 faculty members besides for Silberstein who are responsible for educating the 340 students in grades kindergarten through fourth grade. The school educates kindergarten children in two half-day sessions. All other grades are taught on the standard school schedule.</p>

In 2010, 97 percent of the senior class earned a Regents Diploma and 95 percent went on to a college or university.</p> <p>The district moved its administrative offices from Pearl River High School to the new location at 135 W. Crooked Hill Road in December of 2011.</p> <p>The district begins foreign language instruction in the sixth grade, offers 15 Advanced Placement courses at the High School, provides a full range of special education services and over 70 athletic teams.</p> <p>The faculty includes 214 teachers with an average of 10.7 years of experience. The district includes Pearl River High School, Pearl River Middle School, Franklin Avenue Elementary School, Lincoln Avenue School and Evans Park Elementary School.</p> <p>Dr. John Morgano took over as the PRSD Superintendent of Schools in July 1, 2011 after eigth years as the school's Assistant Superintendent.</p> <p>The district also offers continuing adult education programs and a wide variety of activities and programs for senior citizens.</p>
