The Chamber of Commerce has a number of volunteer committees. There is a Beautification Committee that focuses its efforts on improvements to the Pearl River business district such as planting trees and flowers and putting up holiday decorations. Members of the Government Affairs Committee take turns representing the Chamber of Commerce at Orangetown Town Board Meetings.

This is the local chapter Rotary International, a service organization with 33,000 clubs worldwide and over 1.2 million members. Rotary Clubs are made up of volunteers who work to improve their communities and the world around them by fighting hunger, working to improve health, aiding those in need of education and joining in peace efforts. The organization's motto is Service Above Self.
