I'm proud to have grown up in New City and graduated from Clarkstown North in 2003. After graduating with honors from SUNY Rockland in 2005 and from Yale University in 2007 with a BA in Political Science, I left Rockland to serve in the US Army for four years. I served as an Airborne Ranger Infantry Officer, leading reconnaissance and surveillance platoons in both Iraq for over two months and Afghanistan for one year. I completed my service in 2011, attaining the rank of Captain and having served as a Senior Logistics Officer following my time as a platoon leader, earning along the way the Bronze Star and the Combat Infantryman's badge, to go with 13 other decorations for service and achievement.
I returned to New City in Summer 2011 to continue my education, pursuing my MBA at Columbia Business School with an expected graduation in 2013, while simultaneously working as a part-time associate in the private equity and venture capital sector. I love this area, and I hope to help keep it a place where my young son can enjoy the sort of childhood I was able to.
