Friends and family were due to join Lindsey Stewart for her wedding Aug. 10 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Pearl River.
Instead, they will be gathering at Good Shepherd 10:30 a.m. Thursday for her funeral.
Stewart was one of two people who died when the speedboat they were riding in collided with a construction barge near the Tappan Zee Bridge Friday. Her fiance, Brian Bond of Pearl River, was injured in the accident and was still hospitalized as of Monday night. Mark Lennon of Pearl River, who was to be the best man in the wedding, was the other fatality in the accident.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home in Pearl River. The family is asking that memorial donations to the charity of the person's choice be made in place of sending flowers.
Stewart was born in Nyack, but spent much of her youth in Pearl River. She graduated from Pearl River High School in 2000 and was living at the time of her passing at age 30. She worked as a human resource manager for Prudential Life in Nyack.
